Find out a little bit more about me...

"Happiness lies in the joy of achievement

and the thrill of creative effort"

-- Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Thanks for taking the time to look further into my story. Although originally from a suburb of Chicago,

I found myself attracted to Marquette University for my undergraduate experience. I had some of the greatest times of my life there, studying public relations and writing-intensive English. It was often pretty tough to balance schoolwork and multiple jobs at various times, but it was so worth it. I feel like I learned more in those four years than I have in my entire life.

While I was studying, I had the great fortune to gain real world experience through my employment as communications assistant for Raynor Memorial Libraries on campus. It gave me a great idea of what I would like to pursue after I graduated in December 2015. An average day involves designing promotional materials for events, writing newsletter articles or running errands around the Library. I enjoy every minute of what I do!

Graphic design has been a huge part of my life ever since I opened Adobe Photoshop Elements on my family computer when I was about ten years old. I love using design in every aspect of my life, and it is so exciting to watch my own skills grow as I gain more experience. I was honored to be able to do graphic design work as an intern the summer of 2014 with Keep in Mind, Inc., a consultant group that specializes in holistic dementia care solutions. I was also fortunate enough to be able to continue my design work with Marquette University as a Program Assistant for Marketing and Communications with the Office of Student Development.

Just a month before graduating in December of 2015, I began my position as a corporate communications specialist for Molex, LLC. My time here has shown me that there really is no better learning experience than the one you receive out in the "real world." I'm so proud of the growth I've seen in my writing and my confidence, and I can't wait to develop those skills further throughout my career.

Take a look at some of my work here, and if you like what you see... feel free to contact me as I'd love to speak with you further!
